Colour
Deep amber with coppery glow and mahogany edges.
Nose
Dark-fruit and toffee greet the nose, lifted by orange zest and a touch of nutty oak. Dried fig and prune mingle with cocoa as cinnamon and clove weave through sherry-rich depth. The cask-strength punch adds a warming, resinous edge, finishing in vanilla and polished oak.
Palate
Powerful and velvety, this 60.5% Fettercairn coats the palate with dried fig and raisin, dark chocolate and toffee. Spicy warmth from pepper and oak lingers, building to a long, luxurious finish with a refined, sherried sweetness threading through.
Finish
Long, warming finish with sherry depth; dark fruit, cocoa and spice linger over toasted oak, tapering to a velvety, contemplative warmth.
