Tasting Notes
Colour
Warm, sun-kissed golds that drift into copper-amber, with mahogany-tinted edges—a rich, multi-hued glow across the set.
Nose
Coastal peat envelops the nose—smoky, medicinal, and iodine-briny—with an invigorating clarity. Lacy hints of sea spray rise, supported by subtle sherry sweetness and dark fruit from the mix of casks. Leather, ash, and a whisper of vanilla weave through, creating a layered, coastal Islay aroma that promises depth across each dram.
Palate
A peat-forward lineup coats the tongue in smoky, maritime notes—iodine, ash and salt—lifted by sweet vanilla, toffee and dried fruit. Sherry and oak bring cocoa, spice and a lingering, warm finish with whispers of leather and brine.
Finish
Long, peat-forward finish with sea-salt and ash weaving through medicinal smoke; a gentle sherry-tinged sweetness lingers, gradually fading to warm, ember-soft glow.
