The incredibly moreish malt is everything you’d expect from a 26-year-old: smooth, well balanced, and full of character. With only "one previous owner", this bourbon hogshead was owned by the same individual since the day it was filled. It remained under lock and key in the Perthshire warehouse for the next 26 years until the team at Limited acquired it.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold hues and a honeyed, sun-bronzed glow.
Nose
Confectionary sweetness greets the nose: toffees, Werther’s originals and salted caramel, with bright notes of ripe green apples, green grapes and lemon zest. A whisper of nutmeg lends warmth and a subtle spice.
Palate
Amplified spice bursts forth, with nutmeg and ginger lighting the palate. Green apple and lemon zest mingle with fresh-cut grass, roasted coffee, and a hint of chocolate orange, all carried by Deanston's refined sweetness and a poised, well-balanced finish.
Finish
Vibrant and spicy on the finish, with nutmeg and ginger lingering alongside lemon, lime and orange zest. A bitter dark chocolate echo lingers, while freshly ground coffee notes, figs and green apples weave through the tail.
