Delicate honeyed aroma with orchard fruits—pears and apples—lifted by citrus zest. Soft malt, vanilla, and almond mingle with a whisper of heather and a light toffee sweetness. A refined Highland bouquet—quiet, elegant, and inviting.

Palate

Silky, honeyed on the palate, with orchard fruit and a hint of orange zest. Subtle malt sweetness carries vanilla and soft spice, finishing warm with gentle oak and a whisper of toasted almond.

Finish

Silky and enduring, the finish carries honeyed orchard fruit, almond and a warming kiss of oak spice. Sherry whispers through the sweetness with hints of raisin and cocoa, then eases into a long, comforting glow that lingers gracefully on the palate.

Dalwhinnie
(dal-WHIN-ee) Dalwhinnie was founded in 1897 by John Grant, George Sellar and Alexander Mackenzie, and production began in 1898. It was originally named Strathspey, but was renamed Dalwhinnie when spirit first ran, a name usually translated as “Plain of Meetings” in reference to its position at a junction of old drove roads between mountain ranges. Its history also includes a major fire in 1934, which forced a four-year closure before the distillery reopened in 1938.
