Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and a warm coppery glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry nose with ripe dried fruits—fig, date and raisin—framed by walnut and almond, orange zest and toffee. The Oloroso lends velvety, oxidative sweetness, while cinnamon and clove spice mingle with leather and oak, finishing in caramel-coated fruit and a warm, amber-tinted richness.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and richly sherried by an Oloroso cask, with dark fruit sweetness of fig and raisin, complemented by orange zest, toffee and cacao. Layered with roasted almond, leather and spice (cinnamon, clove), all wrapped in velvety oak. Long, warm finish that drapes the palate in caramel-soaked sherry, leaving a nutty, resinous fade.
Finish
An exceptionally long, opulent finish that lingers with Oloroso warmth: prune and fig drift into dark chocolate, toasted almond and espresso, with caramelized sugar weaving through. Spiced oak and a whisper of leather remain, delivering a velvety, enduring glow.
