The nose opens with deep, smoky notes of roasted apples. It then evolves into aromas of plum and clafouti with slightly earthy overtones. The palate is rich, opulent and structured, with toasty notes. The finish is peaty. A majestic calvados of strength and power.

Christian Drouin is a family-owned Calvados house in Normandy, with the business beginning in 1960 when Christian Drouin senior bought the Fiefs Sainte-Anne farm on the hills above Honfleur. He started distilling cider from the estate with the help of local distiller Pierre Pivet, building stocks for nearly twenty years before Christian Drouin junior joined the business and began commercial sales in 1979 with a stronger export focus.
