This is a single cask release from their Chairman's Reserve brand, part of the Master's Selection sub-range.

This rare example of St Lucia Distillers' 100% sugarcane rum was distilled on their John Dore 1 pot still and Macmillan Coffey still in 2011, and matured for 10 years in a single ex-bourbon cask.

One of 278 bottles produced for Penny Royal.

Chairman’s Reserve was created in 1999 by Laurie Barnard, the then chairman of Saint Lucia Distillers. The distillery itself was formed in 1972, when the island’s last two operating distilleries, one at Dennery and one at Roseau, were merged into a single company based in the Roseau Valley.
