Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with mahogany undertones and a coppery glow.
Nose
An elegant, honeyed bouquet of ripe pear and orchard fruit, unfolding into orange zest and vanilla cream. Rich sherry influence lends dried fig, raisin, cocoa and toffee, all wrapped in polished oak with a whisper of spice.
Palate
Silky and opulent on the palate, this Caperdonich unfurls with dried fruit, orange zest and gentle sherry sweetness. Velvet oak carries fig and raisin with hints of toffee, while warming spice—cinnamon and clove—emerges mid-palate. A measured alcoholic bite lends structure to a long, refined finish of fruitcake, walnut and cocoa.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish where sherry envelopes the palate in a velvet glow of dried figs and raisin, with hints of orange zest and dark chocolate. Cinnamon and clove weave through, slowly receding to toasted oak, leaving a warm, lingering echo.
