Bushmills 18 Year Old is matured in a combination of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks before a finishing period in port casks, giving it a fuller and more polished style than the younger single malts in the range.

Bottled at 46% ABV, it balances dried fruit, spice and oak with the distillery’s naturally elegant character, making it a particularly rounded and composed expression.

Bushmills traces its whiskey heritage to 1608, when King James I granted Sir Thomas Phillips a licence to distil in County Antrim. The Old Bushmills Distillery was formally registered in 1784 by Hugh Anderson, making it one of the most historic names in Irish whiskey. Production is centred in the village of Bushmills, close to the River Bush, with the distillery long associated with triple-distilled Irish whiskey made from malted barley.
