Storm Kelpie was born from a treachorous swim across the Corryvreckan whirlpool, located between the islands of Jura and Scarba, Scotland. The Whisky was carried across the whirlpool by swimmers, to be bottled and raise money for Sea Shepherd New Zealand. A rich and powerful Islay Single Malt Whisky, from Bunnahabhain distillery.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, rich amber with copper-gold highlights and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Clear smoky notes of BBQ and smoked meat rise over a campfire, balanced by a honey sweetness and a bright citrus lift.
Palate
Powerful, but well rounded and balanced on the palate, with citrus notes of lime and orange and ripe orchard fruits. Spicy smoke and a hint of black pepper weave through the sip, leaving a touch of peat on the tongue.
Finish
Medium to intense, the finish lingers with peat smoke that clings to the palate, a peppery warmth mingling with citrus zest before slowly fading into a maritime, smoky echo.
