Tasting Notes

Colour

Rich, deep amber with warm copper undertones and a glimmer of sunlit gold.

Nose

Sherry-soaked sultanas and raisins, plump grapes and honey, juicy melon, Madeira cake, ginger and soft spice, and buttery oak with orange zest and dark chocolate.

Palate

Fat and juicy grape and grain drive the palate, with melon sweetness and a ginger lift. Spiced biscuits mingle with orange rind and black grape, all wrapped in aromatic spices and a touch of buttery oak.

Finish

Oily citrus greets the palate and lingers with bitter chocolate, while melon and ginger echo through sherry-soaked fruitcake, a drizzle of runny honey, and a final kiss of juicy grape.
