Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant golden-amber with a honeyed glow and sun-kissed copper edges.
Nose
True to Bruichladdich, grassy dairy with a touch of acidity and unripe tropical fruits. Citrus peel and crushed almonds mingle with mild peat, hinting at a heathery Orcadian style. First-fill bourbon adds gentle vanilla, pineapple, brown sugar, and oak spice.
Palate
Fruity and oily, palate-coating notes of pork grease, cured ham, and smoked German pork. Thick, viscous, and slightly salty, with a lingering, savory heft.
Finish
An expansive, long finish that lingers with an oily silkiness. Aromatic vanilla and oak spice weave through citrus peel and subtle peat, leaving a coastal warmth and a lasting impression of sweetness that gradually fades into a warm, enduring echo.
