(Loch Low-mond) Since 1814, Loch Lomond Distillery has been crafting single malt whiskies as distinctive as the landscape that surrounds it. For Loch Lomond, craft and style go hand in hand—much like an artist’s brushstroke or a perfectly tuned instrument.

Thanks to a one-of-a-kind still setup, Loch Lomond is able to produce a broad range of high-quality whiskies, each with its own character. The Loch Lomond Distillery holds a fascinating history, as intriguing and rich as the Loch Lomond landscape itself. The first mention of a distillery by the loch dates to 1814. The closing date of this original Distillery, nestled at the northern tip of Loch Lomond near Tarbet, is sadly now lost to the mists of whisky history, with few paper records remaining.
The current Loch Lomond Distillery owes its creation in 1965 to the former proprietors of Littlemill Distillery, situated in Bowling, merely a few miles towards Glasgow.
