A Bourbon cask aged Bowmore that is a good entry level introduction to Islay's oldest distillery.

A fresh and fragrant peat smoked Bowmore that has now been replaced by the No1 Vaults release (not to be confused with the limited release No1 Vaults Atlantic sea salt).

Tasting Notes

Colour

Rich amber-gold with honeyed copper undertones, a warm, sunlit hue that glows with depth.

Nose

Creosote wood and peat tar with smoked pineapple, waxy orange rind over a barbecue, and herbal citrus with vanilla.

Palate

Salted lemon curd upfront, joined by smoked vanilla; spiced peach and apricot weave with herbal honey for a balanced, gently warming finish.

Finish

Salted tinned pears linger, with subtle smoked herbs and peat tar, finishing in smoked vanilla and a bright lime cordial.
