Bower Hill Whiskies commemorate the 'Battle of Bower Hill' the first bloodshed of the whisky rebellion in 1794. The Single Barrel Bourbon is a bottling of older stocks than the Barrel Reserve, and is bottled at a higher strength of 47% ABV.
Rich charred oak, chocolate, buttercorn with essence of vanilla spice on the nose.
The palate is big, full, lush and spicy with lots of plum, charredoak and apple.
The finish is long and smooth with a slightly warming character.
