Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with sunlit copper notes.
Nose
Delicate perfume of citrus zest and green apple, lifted by honeyed barley and vanilla. Subtle floral notes mingle with toasted oak, almond and a whisper of spice, revealing a graceful, airy Lowland malt.
Palate
Silky and balanced, this Bladnoch delivers a sherried sweetness that coats the tongue with dark plum, fig, and cocoa. It glides in an oily mouthfeel, unlocking toasted almond, caramel, and gentle spice, all carried by a soft oak backbone. The finish is long and refined, with fruit-driven depth, nutty warmth, and a subtle coffee-kissed note lingering.
Finish
Sherry-kissed and elegantly persistent, the finish lingers with dried fig and raisin, cocoa and toasted almond. Gentle spices drift over warm oak, leaving a long, velvety glow with a bright whisper of orange zest fading to a refined closure.
