The Twelve is a Sherry rich Single Malt, building on the legacy of Benriach expressions released at this age using predominantly Sherry cask maturation. The addition of port cask maturation to this new recipe has intensified notes of baked fruits.

Colour
Rich amber-gold with warm honey tones and a subtle coppery glow.
Nose
On the nose, a sweet orchard of BenRiach: ripe pear and nectarine with honey, toasted oak and malt warmth. Almond-vanilla nuance lingers as the bouquet broadens. The Smoky Ten offers a whisper of Highland peat, a soft, inviting smoke. The Twelve adds sherry-rich depth with notes of baked fruits.
Palate
On the palate, orchard honey and ripe pear mingle with nectarine, backed by malt sweetness and toasted oak. Subtle almond and spiced vanilla add warmth, while a whisper of Highland peat threads through for balance. In the sherry- and port-influenced finish, baked fruits, rich sweetness and a gentle nutmeg linger long and refined.
Finish
Long and layered, finishing with almond and spiced vanilla, a soft peat echo, and sherry- and port-influenced dried fruits. Toasted oak and orchard sweetness linger with a warm spice.
