A subtle malt and a warming, high-ABV glow from the 60.6% cask-strength 1982 vintage.

Palate

Opulent and full-bodied, the palate welcomes with a thick, syrupy sweetness of dark raisin and dried fig, braided with cherry and walnut from sherry influence. Rich cocoa, espresso, and toffee mingle with leather and toasted oak. Spices bloom—clove, nutmeg—before a long, warming peppery finish that lingers with a subtle sweetness and life from the high ABV.
