Glencoe whisky was launched in the mid to late 1960s by Rory MacDonald, who at the time owned the Clachaig Inn in Glencoe. It was acquired by Ben Nevis Distillery in the early 1990s and after an update to its packaging, now sits alongside their range of Ben Nevis malts.
The Ben Nevis distillery are proud to be able to offer you a whisky named after Glencoe and Ben Nevis, two of the most admired destinations of mountaineers; a toast to this wild, rugged and beautiful slice of Scotland.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Woody and nutty at first, it opens with bright citrus—orange marmalade and ripe banana—softening into gentle spice and toasted oak.
Palate
Soft and fruity sweet, the palate flows with dark fruit and chocolate tones underpinned by a rounded maltiness. The interplay of bright fruit and deeper cocoa notes gives it a satisfying mid-range complexity for a 10-year-old.
Finish
Long, smooth and lingering, with chocolate and spice lingering pleasantly on the close.
