A premium aged blended Scotch whisky, Ballantine’s 21 Year Old is a carefully balanced blend of malt and grain whiskies, each matured for a minimum of 21 years, with a notably high proportion aged in European oak casks.

Rich and refined, it opens with honeyed sweetness, orchard fruits and floral aromas, supported by subtle spice and oak influence from extended maturation. On the palate it offers a layered balance of dried fruit, vanilla, gentle spice and soft oak, leading to a long mellow finish with hints of dried fruit and gentle complexity.

(BAL-un-tynes) Ballantine’s traces its roots to 1827, when George Ballantine opened a grocery shop in Edinburgh before moving into wines and spirits in 1836. The business expanded steadily, exporting worldwide by 1881, and in 1895 George Ballantine & Son received a Royal Warrant from Queen Victoria. Ballantine’s Finest followed in 1910, giving the brand the blend that still sits at the centre of the range today.
