Bright citrus zest and green apple lift the glass, while vanilla ribbons weave through. A gentle sherry sweetness emerges—raisins, fig and plum with cocoa dust—spice notes of cinnamon and nutmeg, all framed by light oak and a whisper of almond.

Palate

Light and silky, the palate opens with lemon zest, green apple, and soft honey, then layers in vanilla, almond, and dried apricot. Sherry-cask influence lends gentle raisin and cocoa notes, with a whisper of spice and a clean, nutty finish.

Finish

Long and refined, the finish unfolds with a quiet sherry sweetness—orange zest and green apple softening into dried fig and almond. Cocoa whispers and a gentle spice persist, leaving a polished warmth that lingers across the palate.

Auchentoshan
(OCH-en-TOSH-an) Auchentoshan was officially established in 1823, with earlier roots at Duntocher on the western edge of Glasgow. It became one of the few surviving Lowland malt distilleries in the late 20th century, passing through several owners before Eadie Cairns rebuilt the site after acquiring it in 1969. Stanley P. Morrison bought Auchentoshan in 1984, and Suntory acquired Morrison Bowmore in 1994.
