The House of Angostura has announced the launch of a new, super-premium, 15 year-old aged rum: Angostura 1787

Angostura 1787 Rum is a super-premium blend of rums aged for a minimum of 15 years. Lots of flavours of dried fruit, toasted oak and robust spice. Ace Trinidadian rum that's well-suited to sipping neat. It is the newest addition to the House of Angostura’s family of premium rums, a range which includes Angostura 7 Year Old Rum, Angostura 1919 and Angostura 1824.

Angostura
Angostura began in 1824, when Dr Johann Siegert created his aromatic bitters in Angostura, now Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela. Originally developed as a medicinal tincture, the bitters later became closely associated with cocktails, food and professional bartending. In the 1870s, Siegert’s sons moved the family business to Trinidad, where Angostura grew into one of the most recognisable names in bitters.
