This vibrant rum from House of Rum hails from Trinidad Distillers Ltd., the island’s sole remaining distillery. Distilled from molasses in 2012, it aged nine years in Trinidad and three more in the UK, all in bourbon casks, before bottling in 2023 at 64.3% ABV. The nose offers stone fruit, pineapple, vanilla, and spice. On the palate, apricot, green banana, and tropical brightness shine through, leading to a bittersweet finish of apricots and almonds.
