Angostura Tamboo Spiced Rum is a Caribbean spiced rum crafted by Angostura, a brand best known for its Trinidadian bitters and premium rums.

It’s made from molasses-based rum and infused with a balanced blend of spices, including notes of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and vanilla, creating a rich, warming profile with caramel, toasted oak and tropical spice on the palate. Tamboo is smooth and versatile, suitable for sipping neat as well as mixing in classic and modern rum cocktails that benefit from its bold spice character.

Rich and Vibrant. Spicy and rich with notes of vanilla and toffee, apples with hints of cardamom and cinnamon.

Palate

Warm cinnamon adds to the bold vanilla, cake tones, inviting nutmeg and smoky cardamom flavors exudes the spirit, with a marzipan finish.

Finish

Smooth on the palate with medium lasting effect.

Angostura
Angostura began in 1824, when Dr Johann Siegert created his aromatic bitters in Angostura, now Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela. Originally developed as a medicinal tincture, the bitters later became closely associated with cocktails, food and professional bartending. In the 1870s, Siegert’s sons moved the family business to Trinidad, where Angostura grew into one of the most recognisable names in bitters.
