An independant bottling from Gordon and Macphail of this lesser known Speyside distillery. As with all these new Connoisseurs Choice bottlings it's single cask and cask strength.
Drawn from a refill American Hogshead, this has aromas of pear, vanilla, lemon and hay. The palate is warming with chilli chocoate leading to lemon and grapefruit flavours. The finish is lingering with cocoa and toasty malt.

Pale gold with warm honey and sunlit amber accents.
Nose
Bright pear and lemon zest lift the aroma, wrapped in creamy vanilla. A soft hay note adds pastoral sweetness, while a delicate citrus lift lingers, evoking sunlit orchards and warm summer hay in a refined, inviting bouquet.
Palate
Warm and inviting, the palate delivers chilli chocolate spice, then bright lemon and grapefruit, with a cocoa-dusted malt underpinning the texture.
Finish
Long, lingering finish of cocoa and toasty malt, with chocolatey warmth that slowly fades, leaving a soft malt sweetness on the palate.
