A well refined gin from the Welsh distillery, Aber Falls, with a balance of subtly sweet and bitter orange flavours, with the pine flavour of juniper.

Try it with a healthy splash of tonic, ice and a slice of orange.

Colour

Crystal-clear with a delicate pale gold hue, catching a soft amber glow in the light.

Nose

Vibrant orange marmalade and tangy citrus zest take the foreground, balanced by a subtle sweetness and a pleasant bitter edge. A crisp, piney juniper lift threads through, delivering refined gin freshness.

Palate

On the palate, orange marmalade unfurls with subtle sweetness balanced by a crisp bitter zest. Juniper’s pine notes rise through, giving a resinous, gin-bright backbone. The mid-palate stays clean and balanced, leading to a dry, lingering orange finish.

Finish

Long and gently warming, the finish carries bright orange marmalade and zest, tempered by a bitter-orange peel bite. Juniper resin and a whisper of pine linger, finishing clean and inviting another sip.

Aber Falls
Aber Falls was commissioned in late 2017 and began production in early 2018 in Abergwyngregyn, North Wales, close to Rhaeadr Fawr, the Aber Falls waterfall. It was the first whisky distillery in North Wales for more than 100 years and forms part of Halewood Artisanal Spirits, with production centred on Welsh ingredients and local distillation.
