Colour
Dark, almost chestnut, with a warm mahogany sheen and subtle amber highlights.
Nose
Tinned black cherry compote spills onto a freshly polished antique oak desk, with leather, tobacco, Bakewell tart, and generous jammy sweetness and aromatic spices.
Palate
On the palate, dense and richly sweet, with spicy black cherry, charred toasted oak, cinnamon and allspice. Fruity licorice and chocolate-covered raisins weave through the sweetness, finishing with lingering warmth and pronounced toasted oak.
Finish
Long, opulent finish crowned by black cherry with toasted oak and dark chocolate. Notes of anise and vanilla linger, weaving through the sweetness to a warm, velvety tail.
