Woodford Reserve Kentucky Derby 143 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (1 Litre)

For the 19th straight year, Woodford Reserve has been the “Official Bourbon of the Derby."

During the 2016 event, renowned equine artist, Thomas Allen Pauly was given the opportunity to witness and photograph the races from the roof of Churchill Downs.

This served as inspiration for the 143rd commemorative bottling that features his artwork for the second year in a row, and a rare perspective of the Derby.

These liter-sized bottles like past releases, the liquid inside is the flagship Woodford Reserve Bourbon bottled at 45.2% ABV.

Tasting Notes:

"Nose runs the gamut of vanilla, sweet corn, orange, and oak. Palate begins with strong notes of varnish, oak, alcohol heat, but gives way to charred orange, brown sugar and dried fruits. The finish is long and brings back the astringent notes on the nose."
