Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold sheen and mahogany depth, a warm, honeyed glow that hints at sherry cask maturity.
Nose
Dark sherry on the nose, with ripe raisin, fig and orange zest unfolding over velvety toffee and vanilla. Nutty almond and walnut mingle with cocoa and a soft spice, while polished oak adds tobacco and leather depth. Warm, collector’s character hints at age and rare provenance.
Palate
Silky, medium-full on the palate, with a pronounced sherry richness carrying raisin, fig and candied orange peel. Toasted almond, dark chocolate and toasted oak weave through a warm caramel sweetness and subtle spice, yielding a velvety mouthfeel. The finish is persistent, echoing toffee, dried fruit and a gentle oaken spice.
Finish
Long, refined finish with dark fruit and toasted almond notes, carried by gentle sherry sweetness. Raisins and fig mingle with orange zest and warm spices—cinnamon and clove—before a velvety oak fade, leaving a cocoa-dusted warmth that lingers gracefully.
