Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-bronze highlights and a mahogany edge, glowing with warm, honeyed depth.
Nose
Delicate orchard fruit and vanilla greet the nose, with pale malt sweetness and creamy toffee. Subtle oak adds a faint nutty edge as dried fruits—raisin and fig—mingle with orange zest. A gentle sherry warmth and spice—cinnamon, ginger—rise, finishing with a polished, malt-forward perfume that is inviting and refined.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate with rich sherry influence: dried fig, raisin and orange zest mingle with toasted almond and cocoa. Subtle spice and warm oak rise through the middle, leaving a long, nutty finish with hints of molasses and leather.
Finish
Long, warming finish with a pronounced sherried sweetness that coats the palate. Dried fruit—figs and raisins—unfold alongside almond, cocoa and a whisper of orange zest. Spices bloom softly—cinnamon and nutmeg—over toasted oak, leaving a silky, lingering warmth that invites another sip.
