Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep coppery-amber with bronze warmth and sunlit golden edges, a rich, honeyed glow.
Nose
Savoury rye bread dough, spicy buttery nuts (pecan pie) black cherry, aromatic tobacco, roasted corn, bbq charred oak, deep and intense.
Palate
Big spicy oak leads the palate, pairing dark stewed fruit with caramelised nuts and aromatic tobacco. Black cherries in syrup mingle with savoury, meaty notes, while wisps of hickory smoke and charred wood linger.
Finish
Monstrous mouthfeel ushers in a long finish of dark cherry, tobacco and menthol, with drying oak and BBQ-charred meat and caramelised banana lingering.
