Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany and copper hues, glowing with warm, tawny undertones.
Nose
Rich and inviting, the nose opens with honeyed orchard fruit (ripe pear, green apple), lifted by vanilla and a whisper of toffee. Sherry cask influence yields dried apricot, fig, and almond, layered over gentle oak and spice. Subtle malt sweetness and citrus zest thread through, delivering a warm, refined aroma that hints at Speyside elegance and long, balanced complexity.
Palate
Silky and refined, the palate opens with rich dried fruits, toffee and orange zest, lifted by honeyed vanilla. Sherry influence brings cocoa, nutmeg and a touch of espresso, balanced by gentle malt sweetness and oak spice. The finish is long, warm and polished, leaving a lasting swirl of fruit and caramel.
Finish
An expansive, lasting finish that coats the palate with sherried sweetness—raisin and fig mingling with toasted oak. Gentle spice—nutmeg and cinnamon—unfolds, leaving a velvety cocoa note and a clean, lingering dryness.
