The Michel Couvrer whiskies are Scottish whiskies that are shipped over to Burgundy in France and matured in a variety of wine casks. This "Blossoming Auld Sherried" is a single malt matured in Sherry casks. Bottled at 45%.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Ripe sherry notes rise in a velvety bouquet: dried plums and cherries, currants, fig and cacao, with toasted almond. Spices—clove, cinnamon—dance with vanilla and polished oak, a hint of tobacco in the background. The sweetness is ripe and luxurious, yielding a warm, orchard-nut finish.
