Maker's Mark Makers 46 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (Old Bottling)
Out of stock
An innovative Bourbon from Maker's Mark. After a standard maturation in new American oak casks, 10 seared virgin French oak staves are inserted into the barrel for a period of nine weeks. The result is an extra hit of oak, spice, and tannin that give this sweet, easy going whisky extra layers of flavour, texture, complexity.
A darker and spicier Maker's that is not just different to the standard maker's but other Bourbon as well, impressive and great value for money.

Colour
Deep copper-amber with rich sunlit caramel tones and a tawny mahogany edge. A warm, glossy glow suggests generous oak, yielding a vivid, luxurious hue that mirrors its bold, spiced character.
Nose
Dark toasted spices of clove and cinnamon unfold with caramel and toffee wafers, french toast, orange curd, marzipan and a hint of well browned toast.
Palate
Juicy and buttery on the palate, it delivers a lush wave of toasted spices, peppery oak, and ginger, with hints of anise and orange blossom honey on vanilla waffles.
Finish
Sugared almonds linger with minty chocolate, orange fondant, and deep caramel, wrapped in toasted-spice complexity.
