Maker's Mark Cellar Aged 2023 Release Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
In stock
The first “Cellar Aged” release from Maker’s Mark. It starts with fully matured Maker’s Mark stocks aged in traditional warehouses, then the barrels are transferred to the distillery’s temperature-controlled limestone cellar for additional ageing, which helps develop deeper and richer flavours without harsh oak.
This inaugural release is a blend of 11 and 12 year old bourbons and is bottled at cask strength 57.85% ABV. It shows rich notes of dark stone fruit, caramelised sugar, toasted oak and baking spices with a long, velvety finish.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold sheen and mahogany undertones—a warm, sunlit caramel glow in the glass.
Nose
Dark stone fruit leads the aroma, ripe and sultry, with caramelised sugar and warm baking spices. Toasted oak adds a polished, resinous edge, while vanilla whispers beneath, hinting at the cellar-aged depth and the heft of this cask-strength bourbon.
Palate
Concentrated and velvety, the sip layers dark stone fruit with caramelized sugar sweetness, unfolding toasted oak and warm baking spices. Rich, chewy texture coats the mouth, balanced by a controlled alcohol bite that never overwhelms. Finish is long and elegant, with lingering fruit and spice fading to a subtle oaky warmth.
Finish
Long, velvety and refined, the finish lingers with dark stone fruit and caramelized sugar, braided with toasted oak and baking spices. At cask strength, a warm, silky glow persists, fading slowly into an elegant echo of fruit and spice that coats the palate with lasting, refined warmth.
