Limestone Branch Precinct No. 6 Kentucky Sour Mash Bourbon Whiskey
Out of stock
A rather unusual Kentucky spirit. Made using combination of 50% corn and 50% sugar cane (so not technically a whiskey), distilled in copper pot stills and aged in a combination of refill bourbon and french oak casks. A corn like whiskey with a rhum agricole character. Rather good in long drinks.
Cinnamon bark, popcorn, vanilla pod and smoke on the nose, followed by caramel, flaked almond and sweet smoke on the palate.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with warm copper-gold highlights.
Nose
A lively bouquet of cinnamon bark, popcorn, vanilla pod and wisps of smoke, with a subtle rhum agricole brightness that accents the corn-forward aroma.
Palate
Caramel coats the palate with a warm, creamy sweetness, while flaked almond adds a toasted, nutty depth. A gentle, sweet smoke lingers, weaving through the mouth and finishing with a soft, lingering warmth.
Finish
Silky and lingering, the finish folds caramel and almond into a gentle, warm smoke, with vanilla whispering through hints of cinnamon. It slowly fades to a refined glow, leaving a soft sweetness that lasts long after the sip.
