Out of stock
A 1990's vintage Ledaig from the 'old style' Connoisseurs Choice bottlings by GnM. This 10 year old was matured in a refill sherry butt and thus adds a lovely swet and fruity note to the usually peaty and earthy Ledaig. These releases always have a chewy, smokey finish!

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with a warm, honeyed glow and a subtle coppery shimmer.
Nose
Peat smoke and maritime brine rise first, mingling with earthy depth. A ribbon of sweetness follows—figs, raisins, orange zest, and a touch of toffee—courtesy of the refill sherry. Dried spice, vanilla, and a whisper of almond weave through the aroma, yielding a fruit-forward, smoky-peaty profile.
Palate
On the palate, a chewy, oily mouthfeel coats the tongue with sweet, dried fruit—raisins, fig, a touch of red apple—woven through bold peat and earthy undertones. Sherry influence adds toffee, dried spice and cocoa, enriching the smoke rather than overpowering it. The sweetness balances the peat, delivering a long, smoky finish with a cocoa-tinged warmth.
Finish
Chewy, smoky finish that lingers long, with soft sweetness and fruity sherry echoes weaving through the peat and earthy core for a warm, coastal fade.
