Tasting Notes

Colour

Rich amber-gold with coppery highlights and a sunlit bronze glow.

Nose

Aromas of dark raisin and fig mingle with velvety toffee, orange peel and toasted almond. Rich sherry notes rise with cocoa, vanilla and spiced oak, a hint of gentle smoke rounding the bouquet.

Palate

Silky and generous on the palate, King Davis delivers sherry-influenced depth with raisin, fig, and dried cherry. Caramel and toffee mingle with vanilla and toasted oak, while a gentle spice keeps the backbone lively. The finish is long and warm, lingering with cocoa nibs, almond, and a touch of smoke.

Finish

Long, refined finish, sherried sweetness lingering over warm oak. Figs and raisins unfold into toffee, hazelnut and dark chocolate, while cinnamon and clove threads keep it vibrant. A velvety residual warmth fades to orange zest and a final whisper of toasted nut.
