Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-gold amber with a warm honey glow.
Nose
Earthy and mineral, with an oily sheen rising from the glass. Peat smoke threads through the aroma, not overpowering but richly integrated, carrying a whisper of salt air. Beneath, the classic Jura sweetness—vanilla-kissed toffee and orchard fruit—lends a soft, inviting glow to the smoke and earth.
Palate
Oil-slick mouthfeel coats the palate with earthy peat and charcoal smoke, tempered by the Jura sweetness. Vanilla and cocoa notes emerge with a hint of salt, carrying through the mid-palate to a warm, lingering smoke.
Finish
Long and lingering, the finish blooms with earthy peat and an oily, resinous grip. Smoky notes persist, tempered by Jura’s characteristic sweetness—vanilla, caramel and orchard fruit—softening the blaze into a warm, refined finale that slowly fades.
