Inspired by Judas Priest's chart-topping Invincible Shield, this single malt whisky honours the album's powerful and expressive nature. The whisky is matured for three years in ex-bourbon and ex-rye barrels as well as ex-brandy, ex-tawny port and Bulgarian virgin oak barrels and double distilled in pot stills.
The whisky opens with delicate wood smoke, mingling with ripe peaches, red cherries, and dark grapes, while soft vanilla and subtle BBQ notes add depth. The palate reveals a tantalising fruit blend of peaches, cherries, and raspberries, complemented by warming rye spice, creamy vanilla, and a hint of smoke. The finish lingers with dark chocolate, spicy rye, oak, and smoke.
