Johnnie Walker Swing Celebrity Blended Scotch Whisky
Out of stock
Without doubt the rarest edition in the Johnny Walker Swing series, this one being from the 1970's.
Johnnie Walker Swing is an exceptionally smooth premium whisky. Created in the early part of the twenteth century by Sir Alexander Walker, world famous whisky master blender and connoisseur. Inspired by the golden age of transatlanic travel, Sir Alexander's creation captures the essence of luxury travel and is a lasting tribute to the sophistication of the 30's era.
The Swing decanter is also a hallmark of Sir Alexander's creativity. Swing is presented in a uniquely shaped bottle that was designed to combat the problem of rough seas and shelf balance that barmen endured. With a convex base the decanter elegantly rocks back and forth in time with the rocking motion of the waves.
Swing has been enjoyed since its creation by generations of whisky drinkers who have discovered its uniquely smooth and mellow taste.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with honey-gold hues and coppery highlights, a warm, luminous bronze that glows in the glass.
Nose
Elegant, softly sherried on the nose; notes of dried fig and raisin mingle with orange zest, almond and a velvety toffee sweetness. Subtle vanilla and oak lend warmth, while a delicate maritime breeze and a whisper of spice keep the aroma poised and refined. A timeless, luxurious prelude to the palate.
Palate
Silky and refined on the palate, with a gentle honeyed sweetness that folds into dried fruit and almond. Subtle sherry-cask warmth meets malt, vanilla and citrus zest, carried by a creamy texture and polished oak. Finishes long and elegant with soft spice—a true reflection of its rare, travel-inspired heritage.
Finish
Extremely long and velvety, the finish pours forth honeyed fruit and delicate toffee, evolving into warm spice and faint oak. Silky, refined and mellow, it lingers with a soft maritime breath, fading slowly to a polished, elegant afterglow.
