Johnnie Walker Oldest Pre Blue Label Blended Scotch Whisky (Unboxed)
Out of stock
Johnnie Walker's Oldest is one of the first ever bottlings of what was eventually to be known as Johnnie Walker Blue Label. It contains Whiskies that are aged between 15 and 60 years old and these early bottles we are told probably contain Brora and Port Ellen although the exact formulae is a secret.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a burnished copper glow and mahogany edges; a sun-warmed, honey-bronze hue that suggests aged richness.
Nose
A luxurious nose of dark plum and fig, lacquered with sherry sweetness and vanilla oak. Rich cocoa and leather unfold, while a coastal whisper of sea salt and subtle peat smoke hints at Brora and Port Ellen in the blend.
Palate
Silky and opulent on the palate, with a measured wave of gentle peat and briny sea air, folded into rich dried fruit, fig and raisin, and glossy dark chocolate. Sherry-cask warmth adds cinnamon and nutmeg, while oak and a whisper of leather linger into a long, refined finish.
Finish
Long and seamless, the finish coats the palate with whispering smoke and maritime brine, fading into velvety dried fruit, cocoa, and oak spice. A refined ember lingers, inviting another thoughtful sip.
