A very rare US only bottling of Jim Beam Old Tub. Old Tub Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey comes from one of the giants of the whiskey world. This particular release is usually only available at the distillery itself and is arguably similar to the original style of whiskey produced by Jim Beam in the late 1800's.
Bottled in Bond at 100 Proof this is a textured and muscular Bourbon. Sweet Corn with vanila ,and spice on the nnose, balanced and aromatic. The palate is full of butterscotch. Clove, tobacco, vanilla and spice. This has real depth, chewy and sinuous. If this how whiskey was made back in the day, bring it back.

Full, textured and muscular on the palate, with real depth and a chewy, sinuous mouthfeel. Butterscotch sweetness anchors the mid-palate, while clove, tobacco, vanilla and spice weave through, finishing warm, balanced and lingering.
Finish
Long, warm and lingering, this finish is chewy and sinuous, coating the palate with butterscotch, vanilla and spice as clove and tobacco subtly echo and fade into a comforting warmth.
