Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a touch of mahogany.

Nose

Vanilla, caramel and corn sweetness rise, mingled with toasted oak and brown sugar. Baking spices—cinnamon and nutmeg—linger, while a whisper of char and leather adds depth. A warm, aged aroma that suggests oak richness and a smooth, enduring finish.

Palate

Caramel and vanilla lead a warm, oak-forward palate, supported by creamy corn and toasted rye spice. Notes of toffee, maple and dried fruit mingle with subtle leather and cocoa. Silky, well-rounded texture with a touch of resin and evenly spaced spice. The finish is long and warming, echoing vanilla, oak and a gentle peppery lift.

Finish

Long and warm, the finish unfolds with toasted oak, vanilla, and caramel that slowly dissolves into refined spice. Cinnamon and a trace of rye linger, leaving a softly charred, pleasantly dry afterglow.

Jim Beam
Jim Beam traces its roots to the late 18th century, when the Beam family settled in Kentucky and began distilling bourbon. A major turning point came in 1894, when James Beauregard “Jim” Beam took over the family business, and another followed after Prohibition, when he rebuilt the distillery in Clermont, Kentucky in 1933–35. The modern brand grew from that post-Prohibition revival, with T. Jeremiah Beam re-founding the business in 1935 as the Jim B. Beam Distilling Company and giving the bourbon the Jim Beam name.
