Out of stock
This 100 proof single barrel is in commemoration of the sacrifices made 75 years on from the D-Day landings in Normandy, France, on 6th June 1944. The Allies launched Operation Overlord against Hitler's Atlantic Wall with an estimated 150,000 troops, 11,500 aircraft and nearly 7000 vessels.
These forces were predominantly from the United States of America, the United Kingdom and Canada. The landings are the largest amphibious invasion in history and marked a significant turning point with the Second World War in Europe ending less than a year later following its liberation from Nazi tyranny.
"The eyes of the wolrd are upon you. The Hopes and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you" - General Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Caramel, vanilla and toasted oak lead the nose, with hints of maple and almond. Dark chocolate and orange zest brighten the aroma, while bold 100-proof spice—cracked pepper and cinnamon—emerges beneath a soft whisper of smoke from the char. Warm, refined and enduring, inviting the first deliberate sip.
Palate
Bold and generous on the palate, this single-barrel delivers caramel and vanilla with toasted oak and a hint of char. Maple sweetness deepens into dark fruit, while cinnamon, clove and black pepper thread through the mid-palate. A warm, leathery finish carries orange zest and rye spice, lingering with refined, worldly warmth.
