Originally released in 1997 as a Travel Retail exclusive, Jack Daniel's Silver Select is bottled at a higher strength of 100 Proof (50% ABV). This 1st generation bottle design was produced from 1997 until 2010, when the packaging was re-designed. Jack Daniel's Silver Select was finally discontinued in 2015, and was replaced by Jack Daniel’s 100 Proof in 2016.

Spices bloom—cinnamon, clove, a touch of pepper—carried by a creamy, slightly oily mouthfeel. The finish is long and warm, with oak and cacao notes lingering gracefully.
