It’s been 100 years or so since the Jack Daniel Distillery released a whiskey of 10 years of age or greater. Evolving Jack Daniel’s past aged-stated whiskey process, these Tennessee Whiskey barrels have been aging in the Buzzard’s Roost of our barrelhouse, and methodically relocated to the lower floors of different barrel houses to extend the aging process for the last 10 summers.
The extreme weather variation at different locations in the barrel houses along with longevity in our handmade oak barrels creates an intense, unique character of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and mahogany edges, a luminous, honeyed glow that hints at years of oak aging.
Nose
Opulent vanilla and caramel rise with toasted oak and a touch of char, layered over maple and dried fruit. Spices such as cinnamon, clove and allspice fuse with orange zest and a hint of leather, tempered by Tennessee’s signature charcoal sweetness. A bold, inviting bouquet that promises depth from a decade in varied oak.
Palate
Opulent and densely layered, this ten-year Tennessee whiskey unfolds with vanilla and caramel draped over toasted oak. Rich dark fruit, cocoa, and a kiss of baking spice emerge, tempered by a subtle rye-like bite. Extended aging lends a velvet fullness, driving a long, warming finish of spice, leather, and charred oak.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with warm vanilla and toasty oak, woven with baking spices and dark caramel. A satin mouthfeel lingers into tobacco and cocoa, finishing with a refined warmth and a subtle, lingering spice that invites the next sip.
