Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery undertones and a hint of mahogany, a warm, sunset-hued glow.
Nose
Opulent sherried bouquet of dark fruit—raisin, fig and date—woven with cocoa, treacle and orange zest. Spices of cinnamon and clove glow through the richness, while whispers of leather, toasted oak and a faint smoke add depth. A warm, luxurious aroma that promises complexity and enduring richness.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied on the palate, a luxurious velvet mouthfeel coats dried fig and raisin, dark chocolate and toffee, with espresso and roasted nut hints. Cinnamon and clove weave through seasoned oak as orange zest lifts the mid-palate. The finish is long and warming, tapering to sweet-nutty tannins and a lingering, refined spice.
Finish
Long, enveloping finish with sherry richness: dark fruit, fig and raisin, cocoa and toasted almond, all wrapped in warm oak and a whisper of spice, lingering into a cinnamon-tinged glow.
