This single cask Scotch whisky was distilled at Glenturret Distillery, Highlands, on the 23rd of June 1988. The new spirit was filled into a Bourbon Hogshead, cask number 537, where it remained until bottling in 2023.
A lovely intense gold in colour, the 35 years in cask have created a beautifully rich liquid with pineapple, mixed exotic fruits and a layer of warm vanilla. The mouthfeel is luscious and expansive with a long, satisfying finish. The colour of the whisky reflects only the natural impact from the cask during maturation.
This whisky was disgorged and bottled under the supervision of Andrew Symington the distillery manager on the 5th of October 2023.
