The Glenturret Peated Edition combines both the unpeated Glenturret spirit with heavily peated spirit known as Ruadh Maor. This expression delivers definitive smoke and light spice aromas before developing into an array of maturing fruit and smoldering peat flavours on the palate. This edition is crafted in small batches, with less than 60 casks hand selected to create this unique dram per batch.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Sun-kissed golden amber with a warm honey glow and a whisper of copper, hinting at sherry-cask depth.
Nose
Peat smoke entwined with thick citrus, a layered aroma that teases the nose. Notes of cask toast mingle with the richness of burning peat, like an open-fire glow. A playful toffee-apple sweetness sits beneath, while clean oak remains understated. Vanilla and light spices emerge late, adding a refined lift.
Palate
Sweet and spice take the lead, vanilla thickened against a bowl of ripe fruit. Ginger glints in a bed of peat, initially subtle but gradually deepening into gentle smoke. The oak remains soft, highlighting the distillery character and the thoughtful peating.
Finish
A mouth-coating finish of soft, delicate smoke, with peat lingering gently as vanilla and oak weave into a quiet, lasting sweetness.
